That our paperwork would work its way through immigration seamlessly and there would not be any hiccups or delays.
For the health of our daughter. She is assigned a nurse and she is in a group home rather than an orphanage but she is still susceptible to viruses and everything thing since she is exposed to other kids all the time. Please pray for her health and for wisdom and love from her caregivers.
Please pray for our finances. We will owe $20,000 to our adoption agency very soon and that does not include travel or any lost wages during our time off work. The break down can be seen on their website but I have attached it here as well.

The adoption program fee helps cover the costs related to a child’s adoption process from Colombia as well as activities to assist vulnerable children in that country. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Costs for personnel, administrative overhead, training and education both in the U.S. and Colombia
- Legal adoption services and communications, working with government and agency authorities (including fees related to these services)
- Assistance with agency’s representative and foreign service providers; document processing; interpreter and translator to meetings in-country with transportation included
- Child Welfare Projects (NOT involving adoption) in Colombia
- Document processing, paralegal processes, translations and medical testing
- Child’s Colombian passport and associated U.S. Visa fees
